Sig Sauer windbreaker is powered by compressed carbon dioxide. It has a threaded barrel and is modeled on a Sig Sauer P226 pistol. The material from which the majority of the replica was made is metal. Only the handles are made of plastic with a non-slip surface. The windbreaker was originally marked by the manufacturer of the battle prototype.
The trigger mechanism works in SA / DA (Single Action / Double Action) mode - to shoot, we must first tighten the tap with the thumb or by moving the lock (SA). We can also use "cocking" the tap by pressing the trigger along its entire length, and then releasing it, which will cause a shot. To tighten the tap, we must unlock the gun. On the left side there is a lever with which we can release a tight cock (so-called decocker). It also plays the role of a blockade, which prevents an accidental shot.
A revolver magazine loaded with Diabolo mushroom shots was used in this model. Shot speed is 152 m / s. The magazine consists of a connector - on its axes of rotation two revolver wreaths move, each containing 8 pellets. When we empty one wreath, i. e. fire 8 shells, we have to rotate the magazine 180 degrees to be able to fire the second wreath again. To release the magazine, we need to press the button located at the base of the trigger guard, on the grip on the left side of the replica. The windbreaker was equipped with a blow-back system (back recoil system), which gives it realism of action. This system guarantees a really strong recoil of the windbreaker every time we shoot.
The replica was equipped with a 22 mm RIS rail, located under the barrel, which allows to supply the gun with a wide range of additional accessories, e. g. a laser target pointer or a flashlight. Complete with the replica, we receive a magazine.
